Card Issuer Dispute & Fraud Phone Numbers: Verified Directory

The verified credit card and debit card dispute lines for the ten largest US issuers, each sourced from the bank's own website. Use this to confirm whether a number that called you is really your bank, or to find the right line to report fraud and file a dispute.

Before you trust a caller

A number matching the list below does not prove the call is genuine. Scammers spoof caller ID so an incoming call shows the real bank number. If someone calls you, hang up and dial the number yourself, or use the one printed on the back of your card. No legitimate bank will ask you to read back a one-time passcode, move money to a "safe account", or install remote-access software during an inbound call.

Verified dispute numbers by issuer

Credit card disputes fall under Regulation Z (12 CFR 1026); debit card disputes fall under Regulation E (12 CFR 1005). Click an issuer for its full dispute process, fraud-detection features and source citations.
